the little bang

i hope i

lead i

because i

am not much

of a follower

where is where

for i am only

left with why

and the nothing place

found in a lack of answer

where i sit

then stand

and feel no taller

for i see no differently

even with my eyes

closed and wearing

there is a book

that has been written

where my whole life is

even if my whole life isn’t

written yet

the universe

in its wonder and

hungry expansion

holds

so much more

every day

which is why

i feel emptier

and emptier yet

as i shrink into the

smaller

shorter

me of tomorrow
