act(ion) positively

every time i drink

i am reminded of why i hate drinking

which makes me drink more

and become hate re-minded:

an every time drunk

fiction creates a universe

poetry is one

*

let it be known

that your existence

is a revolutionary act of resistance

for to change it all

all of it must change

including you and how you exist

to love

is to deny death

for though it comes always

in love

you don’t always come

*

everything is about sex

including, and perhaps especially,

not having sex

*

and on your second reading

after you have passed into pages

you will realize that there are no beings

only stories

that deserve to be told a third time
